this is richard's best record. and not just because i'm on it (piano, organ, melodica). produced by brad jones who was really cool to work with. norah and lee produced a couple, too. kenny wollesen, dan reiser, tim luntzel, tony sher, andy borger and jim campilongo also played on it. sounds like we sound when we play a gig. i like that.

carol was on the same bill with richard julian one night at the living room and i thought she was so cool, i asked her if i could be in her band. she said yes. jacob lawson plays violin, carol sings and plays guitar and toy piano and i play organ, electric bass, piano, percussion and melodica. quirky, coney island, voodoo, mermaid music.
